Child Sex Trafficking in Lucas County: Preliminary Findings from Interviews with Survivors

This report by Dr. Celia Williamson examines child sex trafficking in Lucas County. Data was collected through interviews with children who were victims of sex trafficking. The study examines the experiences, wellbeing, and risk-factors associated with juveniles who have been victimized by sex trafficking. The six main areas examined are: experiences with violence, HIV risks and condom use, emotional and physical health, substance use, home life & street life, and experiences with local systems including the juvenile justice system, social service system, and healthcare system.
